WAY TO KILL BOREDOM

The lady in the pictures above was collecting all the plastic bottles and aluminium tin cans at the Manjung Stadium after my school carried out some track events there on Monday.  One of my colleagues told me that the lady met with an accident a few weeks ago while she was collecting recyclables for sale at night.
It is indeed a sorry sight for someone who is aged to have to resort to this type of method to earn a living.  I approached her after I took this photos.  Surprisingly, she spoke to me in the English language.  She told me that she was a retired nurse and lived alone.  She collected plastic bottles and tin cans for sale as a way to kill the boredom.  Aiyoh!  This is so worrisome.  I hope I don't have to resort to such a way to kill boredom after I retire and become really old.
