DUMB BUT DEADLY

The name of this decorative Indoor Plant is Dumb Cane.  I am not sure why it got the name Dumb Cane but one thing I do know is that this plant is very poisonous. Chewing on any part of this leafy plant causes intense pain in the mouth and throat, excessive salivation, and in rare cases, severe swelling of the throat that can lead to strangulation.
