PROUD GARDENER

When the plants in her garden bear flowers, my mum would ask me to take photographs of them for her.  This is especially so if the plants take ages to flower.  Here are two of my mum's plants that were in bloom yesterday.  As can be seen in the picture above, my mum is still under the weather.  However, her health has improved a lot, she is eating and sleeping better now.
By the way, does any one know what the plant with the purple flowers is called?
