GETTING HELP FOR EXHIBITION ON HERBAL BATHS

The lady I am pictured with above is Mak Uda.  She is a bidan or midwife.  Kamariah and I went to see her this afternoon to get a herb by the name of Seringan which she grows in her compound.
Mak Uda was kind enough to give me the leaves for the latest exhibition in the library and I even got the Seringan plant for the Herb Garden.  Besides that Mak Uda also imparted quite a bit of knowledge about herbs that were used for ladies in confinement.  Besides the seringan, I got the Manjakani, Halban, Cabang Tiga and Pisang Kelat plants as well.

 Kamariah plucking some Halban leaves.
Mak Uda digging up some herbs for me.
