What you see above is part of my Auntie Linda's house and part of her neighbour's house. Last week, my aunt's neighbour warned her not to come out of the house and to keep all the windows and doors closed. According to the lady, her nephew who was working in KL called to tell her that radiation in Japan has reached Malaysian shores. So everyone needs to stay indoors. She also told my aunt not to follow me back to my house during the weekend so as not to be exposed to radiation.
I had a really good laugh after I heard this. By the way, the lady is well-educated and speaks good English. Can you imagine that she could fall for such a prank? The biggest joke of all was when I went to fetch my aunt from her house on Saturday, the neighbour had gone out gallivanting with her daughter who had come down from KL to visit. Tsk! Tsk! And to imagine she forbade my aunt from going out from the house.
