REUNION DINNER FOR THREE

Reunion dinners for me are very simple affairs nowadays.  Ever since my dad passed away in 2003, it had only been my mum, my Aunt Linda and I having this once a year gathering. Actually my aunt Linda started joining my mum and I only a couple of years ago after her husband, my uncle Lee passed away and her son and daughter-in-law live in Singapore and only come back on the first day of the new year.
Since my two sisters are married they have their reunion dinners with their husbands' families.  Furthermore, my sister, Li Lian lives in Singapore and it would be rather tiring for her and her family to make the trip back on the second day of the Chinese New Year.  They usually come back during the school holidays. My other sister will come on the second day with her family.
Last night, we all decided to have our Big Dinner at Pizza Hut.  We actually ordered a lot of food as we needed to take some back home as it is auspicious to have leftovers from the dinner to symbolise food aplenty.
