Chinese cabbage or Pak Choy in Chinese is usually included as one of the ingredients for Chinese New Year Food. One of the reasons is that the Cabbage is known as Pak Choi in chinese. 'Pak' means hundred and Choy is wealth. Therefore, Pak Choy would allude to a hundred types of wealth. That is why the Chinese people love to eat Pak Choy during Chinese New Year.
