I went with Kamariah to send my gift for the Grand Opening of Eric's shop yesterday though the date for the auspicious occasion had to be postponed as things were not ready yet. Aiyah! Each time I went, there were only the tables and chair but still no food and drinks. Hmm ... this is really trying my patience. I was thinking of going there with my pals from school for a meal.
Anyway, I looked for a few more auspicious dates for him for the opening ceremony. To the Chinese, the date and time that one chooses to open a shop is very important as it may mean the success or failure of the business.
