It is actually quite difficult to buy salted egg cookies or Ham Tan Soe (in Cantonese) as not many shops sell them. I was pleasantly surprised to find them on sale at the bakery that I bought the cute buns for my mum. Actually, the cookies taste a bit like the Shanghai mooncakes with egg yolk as the fillings. At RM1.50 each, they are reasonably priced.
