Once in a while, I like to eat the Tosai. For those who are not Malaysians, Tosai is a type of food similar to crepe. I found out that the Thosai that the batter for the Thosai that is usually sold at Indian shops is made from rice and split skinned black lentil blended with water and left to ferment overnight. The Thosai I ate was served with three side dishes: Fish curry, coconut chutney and dhal. I guess one of the benefits of living in a multiracial society is that I get to enjoy eating Indian, Malay and Chinese food.
By the way, I like my Tosai to be extra crispy and I like to eat them with the delicious side dishes.
