I bought this Feng Shui Alamanac for the year of the Tiger from the World of Feng Shui branch in Ipoh and refer to it quite a lot. A few years ago, there was only the T'ung Shu (written in Chinese) to refer to but now many Feng Shui writers have come up with almanacs in English which has made life easy for me. However, I still buy a copy of the T'ung Shu each year and still refer to it as I find that it is more detailed. For quick reference, I just refer to the almanac above. For example, if someone wanted to start his business on an auspicious date in January, he can easily look for a suitable date on his own. The best day for a grand opening of a business would be on the 23rd of January, 2010 and the most suitable time would be from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. However, the person must not be born in the year of the rabbit as the time conflicts with his zodiac sign. Actually, if one were very adept at using the T'ung Shu, he or she can also make sure that the time would not conflict with the birth element of the proprietor of the business.
