Though this is a blog about happiness, I can't help but write about all the sadness and sufferings felt by the victims of the Haitian earthquake. When I looked at the pictures tears just welled up in my eyes. I am sure many people around the world would have cried when they saw the very disturbing pictures that I have posted above.However, aid has started pouring in and relief work is being carried out. That is what is remarkable about humankind. We will rally to help those who are in need and it is in times like this that the milk of human kindness abounds. Besides donating to the Haitian Relief Fund, I think what we can do is to pray that things return to normal for the victims and that good luck and happiness will once again shine upon them.
