DON'T JUDGE A PAPAYA BY ITS SKIN

The papaya tree in the school Fruit Garden is bearing fruit. Unfortunately, the papayas are infested with ants and that is why we had the white powdery stuff covering the skin. However, my library assistant said that she plucked one of the papayas, peeled off and skin and found that it was edible. She said that the fruit was very sweet. On hearing this, my two other friends, Khairiah and Kamariah also plucked a papaya each to cook for their dinner.
I guess the ants found out about the sweetness of the fruit and started to hold 'Ant parties' there. Goes to show that one must not judge a papaya by its outer appearance.
