GOODIE BAG

I along with the other English Language teachers from my school attended the third and last departmental meeting for 2009. We were treated to lunch and were presented with a goodie bag after the meeting. It was like a token of appreciation for our effort.
For your information, I love getting goodie bags. Who doesn't? I guess the practice of giving goodie bags would have originated from wedding favours in which the bridal couple would thank their guests by giving them gifts as momentoes and to thank them for coming.
