catfish (ikan keli)
This morning I found out that my colleague, Cikgu Ishak, was suffering from conjunctivitis. He said that his eyes swelled up and became bloodshot after he ate durians. Also he suffered from nose bleed as well.
I remember that when I was a child, I too suffered from nose bleeds and my mum would boil this soup which she made with catfish for me to drink. She added black beans and ginger as well. I will get the recipe from her this weekend and post it here for those who may be interested.
