I have blogged about this Herb Garden belonging to the owner of a hardware shop in Kampung Simee in Ipoh a few times already. The owner and his family members have planted all types of herbal plants in front and by the side of the shop. They water the plants religiously and give away the herbs to anyone who asks for them without asking for a single sen in payment. As far as I know, the plants here always seem to be very healthy and thriving. Whatever is grown is in abundance. There are easily about 100 types of herbs there. I always try to park my car near the shop whenever I send my mum to the market during the weekends so that I can get to look at the herbs there.
I was told that the owner of the hardware shop is a very charitable person and he planted all the herbs to help others. Besides allowing people to pluck the herbs, the owner and his workers also dry the herbs and put place them in the shop so that people can take them. See there are indeed very kind and noble people around!
