I blogged about the Calabash Plant in my school garden looking not too healthy and today my colleague and I carried out our Plant Aid Programme. First she watered the plant with PH water from her home and then she washed the leaves with water. We had suspected that some pesticides might have been absorbed by the leaves. However, I was told by the gardeners that they did not use any pesticides near the Fruit and Herb Gardens at all. So I pulled out all the weeds surrounding the Calabash plants to let them have more space to grow. Puan Asiah and I will be making sure that the plants get a lot of water in the days to come. We want to make sure that we have many new 'babies' to display in our Wu Lou Corner in the library.
Besides from the Feng Shui point of view, having lots of Wu Lous around us would mean that we have lots of good health and good luck surrounding us. Furthermore, the energy of the real calabashes would no doubt be even more potent than the man-made ones.
