IF YOU COOK, I WANT

What you see above is the Laksa Singapore that I packed for my friend, Eric. I had cooked a big pot for my colleagues in school and had some more at home. So I called him to ask if he wanted the Laksa. He answered, "If you cook, then I want".
You know that he has paid the highest compliment to me by saying those 6 words. This was coming from someone who thought that I was a career woman who did not know how to differentiate a ladle from a spoon. I do wonder sometimes why people always have the notion that I cannot cook when in reality I can cook up a storm. See, looks are deceiving.
