My Aunt May told me that the Chinese believe that the Artemis plant or Ngai in the Cantonese dialect has antiseptic properties. It was said that hanging a bunch of the Artemis plant would help to rid the air of germs and bacteria. Well, if what she says is true then it would be worth our while to hang the everywhere. I bought two bunches for RM1.00. The leaves of the Neem plant are also said to have such medicinal properties.
