Happiness to me is bumping into friends who are dear to me like when suddenly this Malay lady appeared right in front of me and asked me if I knew who she was. How can I forget her. Salasiah or Ala is one of my dearest friends. I first got to know her when I started teaching in 1986. We were colleagues for five years and we shared many happy times together. She was shopping at TESCO with her daughter and hubby. What a pleasant surprise for me. It is lovely to see that she looked so radiant and happy with her family. That made my day.
