I am pictured with my friend and colleague, Cikgu Ishak Ismail. Early yesterday morning, he told me that he was one of three shortlisted contestants of a Beverage Competition. He had bought the drinks and sent in some entries.
Last week he got a call from the contest organisers asking him to appear in a TV game show. He and two other contestants had to carry out some activities. He did not emerge as the eventual winner but managed to get RM5,000. Well! That is lucky enough.
Could it be because he was born in the year of the Ox. I notice that quite a number of Ox people have been having good luck. For example, Kris Allen, the American Idol who was born in 1985 is born in the year of the Ox. Susan Boyle, 48 years old is also an Ox. Eventhough she did not win the Britain's Got Talent Competition, she has already become internationally famous and will undoubtedly be earning millions of pounds in the near future.
