MY BUTTERFLY STORY

I have a butterfly story to tell you today. Actually my story started yesterday evening at around 10.00 p.m. I had gone out to buy dinner and when I reached home, I noticed that a butterfly had flown into my house and was resting on the living room floor. I noticed that it stayed there for the entire night. When I went to sleep at around 2.00 a.m., it was still sitting happily in the room.
The next morning, it was still there. I went out to buy some things from the grocery store and when I reached home. Still it was there. Then when I started to cook Laksa Singapore at around 9.00 a.m., the butterfly settled on my thigh. You can see this in the first picture. Then it stuck to me even when I took the rubbish out and then carried all my things to the car to go to school. When I stopped by to hand something to Eric at his shop, the butterfly was still perched on my thigh. Eric was so excited by this phenomena, that he took a picture of the butterfly on my thigh with his handphone.
Then when I reached school, it was still clinging on to me all the way to the library where my friend, Puan Khairiah took the last two pictures. A few of the teachers who had come for the PTK examination at my school also saw the butterfly on me. My butterfly friend only flew away when I went out to my car to take more things from the boot.
That is my butterfly story.
What is interesting is that besides the butterfly, I have had other animals following me around. Usually, it is cats and dogs but it is a first for a butterfly. Once a bird came and perched itself on my shoulder while I was teaching in Kampung Kinjang. Interesting, eh?
