A couple of days ago, I watched a documentary about morel hunting. What hunting? Morel hunting. Like you I did not know that there was a type of mushrooms called morel and that they are greatly prized. People even organise festivals and hunts for morel.
The scientific name for morel is morchella and it is a genus of edible mushroom. A kilo of the morel can cost a lot of money and it is greatly prized by gourmet cooks. I don't think we have these type of mushrooms here. Correct me if I am wrong, okay?
