When the burglar stole my computer, they also stole with them all the files I have for the school library. There were files for the SALC, the use of the library, the library rules, information technology pamphlets that I had prepared during the holidays which I had yet to copy into my thumb-drive nor print. So much information was lost. Worse of all was that the discs that I copied the resource centre files were also taken along with the PC, printer, modem and even my surge protector.
Usually you have people say that they have to start from Square 1 but in my case, I think I am starting again from square 3 as some of the data is in my laptop. I also got help from Mr Anuar, the technical officer for the Teacher's Activity Centre for my zone to copy some of the resource centre files. So, some things can be salvaged.
