OUT OF THE COMFORT ZONE, INTO THE BATTLE ZONE

Kitties love me wherever I go and this kitty at the prawn noodle shop is no different.

I was part of my school delegation to the technical school in Taiping last Saturday. The bus rolled from our school at 6.45 a.m. and we only returned at 6.00 p.m. Actually, we finished the official visit at around 2.30 p.m. and stopped by at a famous prawn noodle shop on the way back home for a meal. It was the principal's treat for the teachers and staff who went on the trip.
We went there for a benchmarking visit as this particular school won a couple of excellent awards and we went there to try find out the secret of their success. We need to aim to become better and what better way than to raise the status of our school to that of a school of excellence. As the senior principal of my school puts it, in order to achieve success we need to get out of the comfort zone we are in and go into the battle zone to make things happen.
Likewise, I think we all need to go out and do something if we want to achieve a certain amount of success. We cannot expect success to just come our way by dint of good luck and good fortune alone.
