The Chinese believe that if we place windmills outside our house, it would help blow away the bad qi and welcome the good ones. My mum loves to place such windmills in her garden. Each time, the old ones that she has put up fades or gets spoilt she'd a buy new and very colourful one as replacement. She got her latest one today.
