My mum finally got to buy a new prayer altar for the house deities. She got it from a furniture shop in Kampung Simee. Not only did she get it for a hundred ringgit less but the service was excellent. The altar was delivered at around noon time and my mum happily invited the deities to the new altar. The Chinese believe that when inviting the deities into our homes or changing altars for Them, we need to do it in a happy mood and free from any negative vibes. Then the household would benefit from the positive energy and be able to maintain a harmonious and serene living environment.
