PEACH BLOSSOM LUCK 桃花運

There are three types of Peach Blossom or Tao Hua, namely Tao Hua Yun (桃花運 ), Tao Hua Jie (桃花劫) and Tao Hua Sha (桃花煞).
We will often hear people saying that it is good to have Tao Hua Yun as they take it to mean that love is knocking on ones door. However, one must be careful with this type of luck as it also has negative implications. A person who might have a mega dose of peach blossom luck where they are involved with not only one but a few ladies or men. This is when things become messy and love triangles or squares may be formed.
Similarly, if one has a clash with the Tao Hua 犯桃花 it would mean meeting up with good romance or encountering problematic love luck (犯桃花可分為犯到好的桃花:代表得到良好的異性感情互動、或壞的桃花(或稱桃花劫、桃花煞). In the case of the latter, it might result in lots and lots of problems in love - jealousy, loss of wealth, cheating, betrayal, separation, family break-up and even death.

Let's look at a few types of Tao Hua problems below:

Tao Hua Yun 桃花運

Too much of a good thing might turn out to be bad as in the case of Tao Hua Yun. Take for instance the beautiful and dashing celebrities. We ordinary folks will read about their many romantic liasons (so colourful that we might wonder if they were real or made up) and entanglements. These people get together as easily as they break-up. They could possibly have loads of tao hua yun or peach blossom luck. Eventhough this type of luck may sometimes be good but it might also bring one to ruin, if not handle properly. So those married persons must be careful of this type of luck in order to safeguard the happiness of the marriage and family. The singles too must also be wary of it .

Tao Hua Xiang 桃花像

According to Chinese face reading, there is such a thing as Peach Blossom looks whereby a person in possession of Tao Hua features would be able to draw the men and ladies to them like magnets. How do we know if one has Tao Hua Xiang? It is stated that this is reflected in the eyes and mouth for men. For men, the iris (the coloured part) of the eye should be more than the white, the eyebrows should be long and thin and the mouth should be not be too big or small but must be thin and wet. Also their voices should be gentle and their face shape is long. As for the ladies, the black should be more than the white of their eyes, they should have long, thin eyebrows, a small mouth, pinkish cheeks and soft and thick palms. Those in possession of these type of looks are said to drive men wild with desire as if they were hit by Cupid's arrow or a love charm often causing the men to forsake their families.

Love entanglements (like the one I highlighted in the previous post) are what one likens to Tao Hua Jie - or disturbances caused by Tao Hua.

WHAT TO DO?
Someone who has Peach Blossom Luck, Tao Hua Looks or Tao Hua Entanglements might have a gala time enjoying romance and happy times but these may only be temporal. After a while, they might discover a whole lot of problems have arisen because of them.

Here are some tips that I got from Feng Shui manuals:

1. To avoid, Tao Hua entanglement, try to get hold of an Obsidian and wear it all the time as this stone is said to be effective in preventing sexual entanglements and tao hua disturbances.
2. Get hold of a traditional Chinese umbrella; open it and then place it at the bedroom door before bedtime every night. In the daytime, you should close it and hang it in the cupboard of wardrobe. It is claimed to be quite effective in preventing third party interference in a marriage or relationship.
