The Lingzhi above were being sold at RM15 per pot at the Kampung Simee market. I did not buy any as I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to grow them at home.
According to Chinese belief, the Lingzhi or glossy ganoderma can be found to be growing duirng the reigns of good emperors. Another name for it is "blissful plant". Many believe that consuming "Lingzhi" will help one to live longer. It is also considered to be an auspicious plant by the Chinese.
