Park Min Young: before and after surgeryI am not sure how accurate the publicity is about many of the Korean actresses having to resort to plastic surgery to change their looks but here are two examples of Korean starlets with pictures of them before and after plastic surgery.
If I am not mistaken, plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery was initially invented to help those people who had disfigurement from accidents, illnesses or surgery. But here we have perfectly okay looking people who go under the knife because they want to be more beautiful. Okay, I do agree that the second girl, Park Min Young, looked prettier after surgery but the first girl was already pretty before she did something to herself and the surgery left her looking like a member of the Addams Family.
Furthermore, by changing their looks, these ladies will inadvertently changed their own fates as their physiognomy has been altered.
