SKIN WHITENING WITH PAPAYAS

I find many of my friends and acquaintances using skin whitening products in order to become fairer. Some of these products contain chemicals which bleach the skin. I am not an expert but I do think that all the bleaching would do damage to the skin the long run. Furthermore, the chemicals used might also effect ones health. My suggestion is to try natural skin whitening treatment. Though the process might take longer and one does not become as white as Michael Jackson but it is healthier.

According to a skin specialist, our skin tone is lightest on the inner forearm, inner thighs, buttocks and breast area. The exposed outer areas like the forearms, hands, legs, feet, nape, neck, upper chest area or any uncovered part that is exposed to the sun daily. Our natural inborn color (before the accumulation of exposure to sun and damages) is the colour of the inner forearm which is the most you could lighten your skin colour or tone. So therefore to lighten a darkened skin is done by the diligent use of certain products containing ingredients that can slightly Micropeel the dead skin layers say 3 layers the most at a time but, at same time ingredients that can dissolve accumulation of dark melanin pigment cells on surface of the epidermis.
This is where the papaya (Carica papaya, also known as powpow) comes in handy. Do you know that the papaya can exfoliate damaged and dead skin cells? Exfoliating the skin removes the cells that cause clogged pores that can result in skin eruptions. The fruit, seeds, skin and leaves of the papaya are all rich in essential enzymes that give this fruit outstanding topical medicinal properties for the treatment of skin conditions.

A lot of research has been done about the enzyme papain which is contained in papayas. It has been proven to whiten and soften the skin, and has been effectively used to heal wounds and insect stings. The juice of raw papaya has been shown to be beneficial in the treatment of swollen acne pimples and prevents pus formation. Papain has also been shown to be helpful in removing brown spots due to sun exposure, lowering inflammation, alleviating edemas and even improving healing from burns.

How to Make a Papaya Facial Mask
Step1: Use papaya alone for this invigorating facial.
Step2: Peel and remove the seeds from a ripe papaya.
Step3: Chop it into small pieces and blend in a blender or food processor until a very smooth paste is formed.
Step4: Apply the facial to cleansed neck and face, but not around the eye area. Wait 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
Papaya face pack:
Apply 2 tablespoons of papaya pulp on your face and let it dry. Then wash off with lukewarm water. One can also mix lemon juice in it.
Since the papaya is a local fruit, it would be relatively cheap. So instead of buying all the expensive bleaching products, why not give the papaya a try? You can even grow your own papaya trees. One reminder is to make sure that you do not have an allergic reaction to papayas before applying them on your face. Use it one your arms first. If there is no itchiness or swelling, then go ahead and make use of this product of nature.
