PAINTING THE PLACE GREEN

The library building of my school will be getting a fresh coat of paint soon. Since yesterday, one of the workers hired to do the job was busy cleaning the building and also getting rid of the flaky paint by spraying water on to the walls. The colour for the building has yet to be decided but I have a particular fondness of the colour green. But my colleagues don't think it is that suitable for the library and so I might have to choose another colour.
In Feng Shui, Green is the colour of renewal, fresh energy and new beginnings. According to the theory of five elements, Green relates to the Wood element. It is very nourishing to ones health, calms nerves and balances the whole body by bringing healing feng shui vibrations from Nature.

FENG SHUI TIPS FOR USING GREEN IN THE HOME

  1. Add some green to other sections of your home. If you need more fire element someplace then add some green to feed the fire. If you have too much water energy in another area add some green to soak up the water energy.
  2. A good Feng Shui bedroom tip is to paint your bedroom green. Green is perfect for this room because it will bring balance to the room and it is also a healing and a calming colour.
  3. When working with Green in feng shui, it is important to have at least several different shades in order to maximize its feng shui energy effects.
