Everywhere I went this weekend: from the market to the shopping centres, I was reminded of the fact that the Chinese Lunar New Year will once again be upon us very soon. Also, the symbols of rats especially in the form of Mickey Mouse can be found in many commercial places and also Chinese homes. My mum alone has bought more that 10 Rat decorative pieces. The above photos that I have posted show some of the decorations and events I saw this weekend in Ipoh. Yeah, I must mention that there were some performances organised by the shopping complex that I went to. The acrobatic troupe that performed at Jusco Ipoh was from China.
