CONTAINING THE 5 YELLOW STAR IN 2014

We are only into the second month of the horse year and the negative 2014 feng shui energies can already be felt in Malaysia.  First we have have been having extremely hot weather and also there is no rain.  Then there is the haze.  Last Saturday morning, my fellow Malaysians and I woke up to the news that one MAS plane was missing.  It is more than 67 hours that the plane disappeared and so far there is no sign of it. God knows what else lies ahead.

As a practitioner of Feng Shui, I believe that negative energies of the year can be neutralized when we have a good feng shui foundation in the home, as well as use the proper feng shui cures. 

This year the Northwest sector of the house is affected by the most challenging star energy (#5) or better know as the Five Yellow.   One good advice is to keep the Northwest of your home or office as quiet as possible this year and avoid any renovations or building work. Also avoid being in this sector if possible.To weaken the effects of negative energies in the Northwest area, place metal here, for example six Chinese coins or anything metallic.  That would counter the earth energy of the 5 Yellow Star.

One taboo for this sector is to avoid using anything to do with the fire as this element will strengthen the earth energy of the #5 Star.  Red items or anything related to lights or fire should not be placed here.
