LAP CHEONG



Wax pork sausages or Lap Cheong 臘腸Chinese sausage is popular during Chinese New Year. The Chinese will usually buy this to give as gifts to relatives and close friends during this festival. They will also use it to cook many of the dishes during the 15 day celebrations. Lap Cheong is so chosen because it is traditionally the primary method for storing meat over the winter.
