BLOOMING GARLIC VINE

The garlice vine (Mansoa alliacea) that my late mother planted is blooming.  I got to enjoy this sight when I went home last weekend.  This pant is a species of tropical liana in the trumpet-creeper family. It is so called because it smells like garlic.
It is a very common and well respected plant remedy in the Amazon for the pain and inflammation of arthritis and rheumatism, as well as, colds, flu, and fever.
