THE PIANO AND VIOLIN BUILDING

Someone sent me an email about the growing Chinese economic power which might overtake even America in future.  Well!  I am not too sure about that but then judging from news about all the mega sized buildings being constructed there, I am beginning to think that there might be some truth about the Chinese in China having too much money.
One of the buildings that caught my attention is the unique Piano and Violin House in An Hui Province, China which was built in 2007.  Inside of the violin is the escalator to the building. The building displays various city plans and development prospects in an effort to draw interest into the recently developed area. It was reportedly designed by Hefei University of Technology and has been built to a scale of 50:1.
This building serves as a showroom for exhibiting the plans for the newly created district of Shannan in Huainan City, China.
