MY CHOLESTEROL REDUCING SALADS

Since I discovered that my cholesterol level was high last year, I began eating salads and made sure that I did not use any mayonnaise. The ones that I whip up at least once a week have cucumbers, cabbages, tomatoes, chilli peppers, corn, basil, green apples and carrots.  For the dressing, I used cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, lemon and lime juice plus a dash of salt.
I had a quick cholesterol test done last week and the reading was very good, 3.95.  However I am not too confident as the testing appeared a bit simple to me.  I will go for a blood test in two weeks' time to confirm.
