While I was visiting the Farmer's Market at Kampung Simee, I had to answer an urgent call of nature and so went inside the Indera Mulia to do my business. I knew there was something on as the place was a hive of activity. After coming our from the washroom, I saw all these Chinese drums.
The banners outside the stadium informed that there was a 3-day Chinese Cultural Festival being held. So I guessed that the drums were for some performance.
True enough when I watched the cultural concert that night, there were 3 drum performances.
The first one involved 100 drums and the performance was done outside the indoor stadium.
Believe me, the performance was very inspirational. Those youngsters who took part were energetic and knew their drums well.
The rhythmic beating of the drums and the loud sound would scare away all the nasties and also negativities. Such a great way to boost the positive Qi.
