While waiting for the traffic light to turn green, I noticed that the small car in front of me had the numbers 999. You may say, "So what?" Yeah, if the car has a licence plate bearing that number is an expensive one then I would not have been bothered to snap a picture of it. However, the price of the Perodua Elite above is about RM38,000. It would be rather pricey to tender for the number 999 for a car not in the luxury range. Or perhaps, there were no tenders for those numbers at that time. Who know? Mind you, I had to pay RM300 to tender for my car number 5851 which is in no way as auspicious as 999.
