This plant was given to me by friend last week. In Chinese it is know as Fu Kwai Fa or Prosperity Flower. Its English name is Desert Rose. The one that I bought from the market last year has just begun to flower. The Chinese believe that if this plant starts flowering, then good luck will be knocking on the door of the one who planted it.
