I had gone to the Chinese Medical Hall with the intention of buying flu medicine but ended buying a box of Jiagulan Tea on the recommendation of the Chinese physician there after he heard me lamenting about my bad cholesterol.
According to him, Jiagulan
绞股蓝 tea is known as Immortalitea or the herb of immortality. Drinking the tea three times a day has a lot of health benefits. Pharmacological research has indicated a number of therapeutic qualities of Jiaogulan (Gynostemma pentaphyllum), such as lowering
cholesterol and high
blood pressure, strengthening
immunity, and inhibiting
cancer growth.
