RED PLUM BLOSSOMS

The pot of red plum blossom above was sold by Brother Lek, my regular flower seller.  I had seen him selling the plant for a couple of weeks already and the pot you see above was the last.
As the Chinese welcome a new year, they love decorating their houses with plants, especially those that flower and fruit.  This is symbolic of good luck.
