FUNERAL STRIPPERS TO ENTERTAIN THE DEAD???



One of my visitors left a comment on the post I did on the Betel Nut Girls of Taiwan.  In his comment, he mentioned the Funeral Strippers in Taiwan and my jaw dropped.  Good Lord, is there such a thing?
It appears that the strippers gyrate on electric flower cars that act as a performing stage for any funeral that requires their services. According to the article that I read, this 'ACT' started 20 years ago, when the Taiwanese mafia took control of a large portion of the funerary services in Taiwan. Their original explanation was that, besides attracting extra mourners, the strippers would act as gifts to lower gods who still enjoyed womanising. To read more, click the links below.
