This weekend when I was back in Ipoh I went to check on the murals by an Ipoh Art teacher and his students. I thought that they would still be there painting the murals and would therefore have the chance to have a chat with them. Unfortunately, the murals were already completed when I went to check out the place. You can see me with the mural of the lion dance above.
Here is a clearer picture of the lion dance done by the art teacher.
Here is the one on the Kuda Kepang. I think this was done by the students as I saw them at it last week.
The last of the murals, the one with the classical Indian dancer. Lovely work. How I wish they would come and paint the walls of the library for me.
