ENGLISH THAT ONLY MALAYSIANS CAN UNDERSTAND

Everywhere in the world where the English language is spoken, there will be a tendency to have it mixed with elements of the local language.  Some might refer to it as influence of the mother tongue.  Malaysian English or Manglish as it is fondly referred to can be understood by Malaysians and also our neighbours from Singapore and Brunei.  To a foreigner, it would prove to be rather confusing.

I love the effort made by Star newspaper and Astro in coming up with the "Oh My English" series of shows and cartoons.
