While I was having breakfast at the college canteen a few days ago, I suddenly heard one of my colleagues who was sitting at the next table crying out that there was a monitor lizard under her seat. After that everyone seated at that table jumped from their seats and moved a distance from the creature. Me? I quickly whipped out my camera and went to take photos. It was then that I realised that the poor creature had breathed its last breath.
