I accidentally plugged one of the buds from the Gloxinia plant in my garden and was really crossed with myself. I had an idea to keep the bud alive by soaking it in a glass of water and did so immediately. After two days, the petals started to unfold and they stayed in the half opened state for two more days before withering. Well, at least I tried my best.
