The Pencil Bench featured here was born out of a conversation by creative furniture designers to see if they could incorporate an everyday office object into a piece of furniture. The award winning bench is made up of 1,600 pink pencils which are individually sprung. Each pencil can be removed and used. Kind of reminds me of the chair of nails used during the 9 Emperor Gods Festival.
