RESURRECTION PLANT





The dried twig like thingy above is a plant called Genggam Fatimah or Sanggul Fatimah(Selaginella lepidophylla). This is a traditional belief that drinking or bathing in warm water added with Genggam Water would aid/fasten the birthing process.

This is not Sellagenella. This is another species of resurrection plant called Kaff Maryam (Anastatica hierochuntica).
